Help for rural students taking exams in Dumka

Dumka: The district administration has signed an agreement with Filo, an edu-tech company and an instant live tutoring app on September 14-15, to bolster performance and fast-track learning outcomes for over 2,000 government school students from classes XI and XII.
The comprehensive learning programme will come free for the students who will now have access to a highly qualified team of teachers and subject experts to help them prepare not only for board examinations but also top competitive exams like JEE and NEET, online.
Under the programme, shortlisted students will have free access to the Filo app using which they can access vetted professional tutors for 1:1 personalised learning 24x7 to understand the concept better and clarify doubts.
Apart from the regular classes to be conducted online in Hindi daily, the students will have access to the Filo app from a multimedia device of their choice (mobile, tablet).
Deputy development commissioner of Dumka, Karn Satyarthi, brainchild of this innovative endeavour, said, “Students can instantly connect 1:1 to a vetted and qualified tutor in less than 60 seconds over video to clarify any doubt, understand concepts better, solve problems and even catch up in case they end up missing a few classes through the Filo app.
