Kohli, who has been named chief executive officer and executive director at the biscuits and dairy maker, will assume the new role with effect from September 26, and report in to Berry, the company announced in a media statement on Friday.

Britannia Industries has named Rajneet Kohli, formerly with Jubilant FoodWorks, as the company’s new chief executive officer, and elevated Varun Berry as executive vice-chairman and managing director.

ET first reported the development in its June 29 edition.

Kohli moves from food services company Jubilant FoodWorks, where he was president and chief business officer of Domino’s Pizza.

Kohli, who has been named chief executive officer and executive director at the biscuits and dairy maker, will assume the new role with effect from September 26, and report in to Berry, the company announced in a media statement on Friday.

“Rajneet’s experience of building high performance businesses and profitable brands is strongly aligned to our vision of becoming a responsible global total foods company,” Berry said in the statement.

Kohli has earlier worked with Coca-Cola and Asian Paints, before he joined Jubilant FoodWorks (JFL). Britannia, with revenue of over Rs 14,000 crore, makes Good Day, Tiger, NutriChoice and Marie Gold biscuits, besides dairy products such as cheese.
