SpiceJet will deposit the TDS of its employees in the next two-three weeks

SpiceJet on Thursday announced that from October, the salary of pilots will be increased by 20 per cent and the pilots sent on leave will also be called back. The pilots were sent on leave because of the company's financial issue as it is facing huge losses in operations.
As per media reports, last month, the salary of pilots was increased by 6 per cent. Now oncs again in October, the company is going to increase their pay by 20 per cent. Media sources said that the company has received the first installment of 'Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme' (ECLGS) and the second installment is going to be received very soon. This will help the company to improve its condition and operations. This money will also be used to increase the salary of the pilots.
It has been said in the report that SpiceJet will deposit the TDS of its employees in the next two-three weeks. Along with this, some part of PF will also be credited. In this regard, an internal mail has been sent to the employees of the company, which has been sent by the company's VP Gurcharan Arora. It is written in the mail that SpiceJet has got the approval of the loan from the government under the ECLGS scheme. In addition, the company's management is trying to raise an additional USD 2 million.
SpiceJet airline had earlier reported a net loss of Rs 789 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022, as against a net loss of Rs 729 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2021. The company's operations have been severely affected by record high fuel prices and depreciating rupee.
