Thiruvananthapuram: Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan has asked the chief secretary and law secretary to have talks with the Jacobite and Orthodox church factions to settle their disputes.
The decision was taken in the discussion the chief minister had with the representatives of both church factions in
Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday.
It has been decided to convene more talks with both factions. However, Vijayan has asked both factions not to go ahead with any case in court until the government finds a solution to their disputes. They have also been asked not to exert pressure on the ongoing cases in the court, which both church factions have agreed.
