Nikhil Sawhney is the new Senior Vice President of AIMA and Suneeta Reddy joins AIMA leadership as Vice President

Shrinivas Dempo, Chairman, Dempo Group of Companies, is the new President of All India Management Association (AIMA), the national body of Indian management. He takes over from CK Ranganathan, Chairman and Managing Director, CavinKare, who moves into the role of the Immediate Past President of AIMA. Simultaneously, Nikhil Sawhney, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Triveni Turbines, has taken up the role of Senior Vice President of AIMA, and Suneeta Reddy, Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Group, has joined AIMA leadership as its new Vice President.
Dempo is Chairman of the Goa-based Dempo Group of Companies, which has diversified interests in industries such as calcined petroleum coke, shipbuilding, food processing, real estate and newspaper publishing. Mr. Dempo is on the Executive Council of Goa University, besides being associated with a number of non-governmental organizations performing yeoman service to society such as the Charles Correa Foundation as also the Goa Cancer Society whose president he is. He continues his multi-generational engagement with Goan society, which covers institutions and programmes of higher education, cultural enrichment, environmental conservation, sporting excellence and affirmative action, under the Dempo Charities Trust and Vasantrao Dempo Education & Research Foundation.
Dempo is a Master of Science in Industrial Administration & Finance from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA and in 2019 he was elected as a member on their Board of Trustees. In 2020 he received the Tepper Achievement Award, in recognition of his influential roles as Chairman and Managing Director of the Dempo Group and in professional associations and civic organizations in India.
Triveni Turbines and Triveni Engineering occupy leadership positions in their respective businesses of sugar manufacturing, distillation of alcohol, renewable energy generation, industrial turbines and gears, and water and wastewater treatment solutions, spanning 16 manufacturing locations in India. Sawhney has helped found the CII-Triveni Water Institute and is an active trustee of the Tirath Ram Shah Charitable Hospital and the Emmanuel College India Trust, as well as the Ananta Aspen Center, of which he is a fellow.
Suneeta Reddy, Managing Director of the Apollo Hospitals Group is a member of the founding family. She joined the enterprise in 1989.
