Gurugram sees 27 new Covid cases, positivity rate at 1.1%

GURUGRAM: Twenty seven new Covid cases were recorded in the city on Sunday. The positivity rate now stands at 1.1%.
The city currently has 175 active cases, out of which four patients are undergoing treatment at hospitals.
The health department collected 1,595 samples on Sunday. Meanwhile, no vaccination camps were set up in the city on Sunday. This month so far, Gurugram has recorded 981 Covid cases. August saw 10,414 new cases, while 5,695 were infected in July.
Meanwhile, Haryana reported 61 new Covid cases on Sunday. At present, it has 418 active cases, out of which 381 are in home isolation.
The state’s positivity rate is 0.72%. On Sunday, 58 patients recovered from the infection and the health authorities collected 7,241 samples.
