DGP meets cops, locals in Burha Pahar

Daltonganj/Ranchi: Following the success of ‘Operation Octopus’ against the CPI (Maoist ) in Burha Pahar located in Latehar district, the director general of police (DGP) Neeraj Sinha on Sunday visited the security force’s camp to boost the morale of the state police and the CRPF personnel.
Sinha interacted with the personnel stationed at the camp and rewarded them for their courage. He also discussed the strategies against the Maoist leaders under ‘Operation Octopus’.“There is no place for extremism in the state. The morale of security forces is demonstrated by the fact that they conducted the operation despite heavy rain and inclement weather.”
The DGP sought information about the pressing problems the locals faced. Sinha pointed out that the construction works for hospitals, schools, roads and other basic infrastructure have also started. The top cop also reassured the people that the state forces would protect them from the extremists.
