AGRA: A 45-year-old man died after a plot to stage a shooting case went horribly wrong. As part of a plan to frame his rivals, Ashok Kumar, the husband of the gram pradhan of Dundra village in Kasganj, got his servant Bhupendra (who uses his first name only) to fire at one of his associates, Surendra Singh
The motive was to frame the gram pradhan’s rival and his son in a fake “attempt to murder” case. However, instead of firing at Surendra’s leg, Bhupendra accidentally fired at his chest, killing him.'
SSP of Kasganj BBGTS Murthy said the incident took place on September 5.
After a detailed pinvestigation, Bhupendra confessed and was arrested. Cops recovered the illegal 12-bore weapon used in the crime. Kumar, who allegedly planned the criminal conspiracy, is absconding and efforts are on to nab him.
