Lucknow: Fake call centre busted, four arrested

LUCKNOW: Four fraudsters, who were allegedly operating a fake call centre to dupe retired government officials and elders through their insurance policies, were arrested by STF on Sunday.
The gang was also involved in a case of fraud reported at Jankipuram police station in Lucknow.
Those arrested were identified as Ankit Kumar of Delhi, Sumit Pandey of Sitapur, Akash of Hapur and Sagar of Punjab. They were arrested from Noida and were named in a case in Lucknow (Jankipuram) also.
ASP, STF, Vishal Vikram Singh, said that the accused used to call customers while posing themselves as staff of insurance companies.
