Fire service department to survey Kolhan buildings

Jamshedpur: The DIG of the state fire service department has directed the fire safety officials to conduct random surveys of the multistoried commercial and residential buildings, industrial plants, and school buildings of the Kolhan division.
DIG Deepak Kumar Sinha on Saturday said he has directed the officials to serve notice to the erring builders, plant owners, and school management officials. If the erring building owners fail to install the fire control system within the given period of time, the buildings would be sealed. TNN
