MUMBAI: The BMC has floated a tender for a Rs 238-crore bridge to connect the Western Express Highway in Bandra (E) with Fishermen Colony on Senapati Bapat Marg in Mahim. Once ready, it is expected to further decongest WEH.
Though the project timeline is two years, officials were not willing to hazard a guess on when work could begin as permissions could take a long time, especially the mandatory nod from the mangrove cell since the bridge is proposed to go over Mithi creek.
