Court convicts Jharkhand man in 2017 murder case

Colva: Additional sessions judge Pooja Kavlekar on Friday convicted Eppiel Dhanvar from Jharkhand for the murder of Kaju, also from the same state, in the year 2017 over a previous enmity. The prosecution’s case was that between May 21 and 22, 2017, the accused slit the throat of the deceased with a knife for not contributing money for the purchase of rations and groceries.
The accused will now be heard on point of sentence.
