Mother, kid jump into river

Belagavi: A 30-year-old woman committed a suicide along with her two-year-old kid into Malaprabha river in Ramadurga taluk on Saturday.
The deceased are Ruddravva Bannuru, 30, and Shivalingppa Bannuru, 2. The reason for Rudravva to take the extreme step is not known.
The incident came to light on Saturday after the incident became the talk of the town. After being alerted, Ramadurga police and fire brigade staffs rushed to spot. The incident happened behind Venkteshwar Temple where the river flows. A search operation is on to take out the bodies. A csae has been registered at Ramadurga police station.
