KOLKATA: Hundreds of students had a narrow escape after a bomb exploded on the terrace of a school when classes were on around 11.45 am on Saturday.
The blast shook Titagarh Free India High School, an Urdu-medium school off Titagarh South Station Road. Officials said the bomb had been lobbed onto the roof from outside. A Barrackpore police team, including commissioner Alok Rajoria and DCP (Central) Aashish Maurya, visited the spot.
