Jharkhand: Woman hit by tractor being driven by finance company officials dies in Hazaribagh

Pregnant daughter of a farmer in Hazaribagh died after she was allegedly mowed down by a tractor by officials of a finance company who came for recovering the tractor on September 16. Manoj Ratan Chothe, SP, Hazaribagh said, “After officials from the finance company reached a farmer's home to recover the tractor argument broke between them, his daughter was hit by a tractor and died.” Murder case has been filed. Kin of the victim said, “Mahindra finance company officials went to farmer's home to recover tractor without informing. His daughter came in front of tractor and argument broke out between them. Thereafter, they crushed her under tractor.She was later brought dead to hospital.”
