MUMBAI: The Mumbai BJP on Saturday inaugurated 415 health camps across Mumbai on the occasion of Prime Minister
Narendra Modi's birthday.
The BJP is observing a "Service fortnight (Seva aur Samarpan)" upto October 2 as part of his birthday celebrations.
Mumbai unit president Ashish Shelar said during this fortnight various initiatives like cleanliness drive, Mann Ki Baat, cleaning of the statues of great leaders, provision of booster dose, blood donation camps, Ayurvedic and Naturopathy clinics will be organised along with free eye check-up camps.
A folk music programme was also organised at Ghatkopar by local MLA Parag Shah. Meanwhile in Nagpur equipment to enable mobility were distributed to senior citizens and the disabled through the Government National Aged and Divyand Aid scheme.
