Mumbai: Default report against agency in Rs 3 crore ATM theft

MUMBAI: Police are set to file a default report against a security agency that provided a driver to a cash management company without verifying his criminal past.
The driver, Udaybhan Singh, is currently in police custody for a Rs 3 crore theft from an ATM cash loading van. Police said Singh was involved in a similar theft in the past.
Three people, including Singh, have been arrested by the Goregaon police in the latest case and around 80% of the stolen cash has been recovered.
