Banks in Bokaro asked to improve credit ratio

Bokaro: The district administration has expressed its concern over the credit ratio of various banks operating in the district and asked them to improve their performance. The banks were also asked to ensure separate arrangements for senior citizens in their branches in the district.
After holding a review meeting of the district-level credit committee here for the first quarter of the current fiscal, its chairman Kuldeep Choudhary, who is also the deputy commissioner of the district, told the bank coordinators that some of their performances on farm credit, crop loan, agriculture, MSME sector and credit were lagging behind. tnn
