GANDHINAGAR: The
Gujarat BJP plans to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday on Saturday, September 17, across the state through various public welfare activities.

BJP vice-president said the party will mark PM Narendra Modi's birthday by organizing welfare and service activities across the state for a fortnight beginning Saturday. "A total 579 blood donation camps will be organized in 579 blocks. On September 21, the women's wing and doctor's cell will organize haemoglobin testing for 75,000 girls. On October 1, Union minister Smriti Irani will launch the Kamal Shakti programme," Zadafia said.
He added, "Besides medical camps, a number of other welfare activities which will help the people, will be organized by the state BJP in all districts of Gujarat."
PM Modi will not visit Gujarat on his birthday this year. tnn
