Vince Gill, the 65-year-old American singer and songwriter, shared, about appearing at the event without his wife Amy Grant, 61 as she was recovering from a bike injury.

Vince came to the event with his daughters Corrina and Jenny. He said Amy was recovering well and was doing great. Although she was pretty upset for not being able to make it to Vince's big event, after the scary accident she had been through, it was only in her best interest that she should recuperate.

Vince continued that for someone like Amy, who is very active, it is challenging to be in a situation that affects her mobility. She knew how loved she was, that we all think of her and represent her well tonight.

The tragic end

Former Chairman of Tata Sons Cyrus Mistry was killed in a car accident in Maharashtra's Palghar today. Mistry was travelling from Ahmedabad to Mumbai in a Mercedes car. The accident took place at 3.15 pm after his car hit a divider. Four people were present in the car; two died on spot and two were moved to hospital.



What did Amy's Publicist say about her accident?

The Christian Singer, Amy Grant, is recovering steadily after a bike accident in July. The 61-year-old singer was hospitalised at the Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville to treat injuries due to the accident. She was later discharged from the hospital after a week.

Amy rescheduled her events for the following months as she still needed time to recover fully from the concussion sustained during the scary bike accident.

Velvet Kelm, the publicist of the "baby, baby" songstress, shared that she was making steady progress and getting more robust, alert, and energetic every day.

Kelm said that Amy hit a pothole while riding her bike and was thrown off, hitting her head hard and knocking her unconscious for almost 10 minutes. Kelm added that the singer needed a lot of downtime and peace to recover from the concussion.

Vince and daughter Corrina honor Amy

Vince sang a new song written primarily for Amy at a concert in August to honour her. The song was called "When My Amy Prays." Vince was joined by his daughter, Corrina.

At the concert in Ryman Auditorium, he told the audience that he and his daughter were going to do a song he had written for his wife, Amy. He shared that Amy's going through a difficult phase and that she was always in their thoughts. He thought it would be sweet for Amy to see her youngest daughter sing a song he wrote for her. The performance was later shared on Facebook at Amy's official page.
