CUET UG 2022 Result Live at cuet.samarth.ac.in: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the result for Common University Entrance Test undergraduate (CUET UG) 2022 at 4 am today. Candidates who appeared in any of the six phases of the entrance test can download their scorecards at the official CUET UG website — cuet.samarth.ac.in.  The NTA will use ‘equipercentile method’to calculate the marks of candidates

The race to Delhi University (DU) might get tougher this year as more candidates have scored 95 percentile in English than any other subject. 8,236 candidates have scored a perfect 100 percentile in English.

NTA conducted the first ever common entrance test for undergraduate admissions to universities between July 16 to August 30. A re-test was conducted on September 11 for considering the grievances of individual students. The provisional answer key was released on September 8. Candidates were given time till 5 pm of September 10 to challenge the answer key.

As per the official date, among all states, Uttar Pradesh had the highest turnout among all the states with 2,92,589 students appearing for the CUET. The second highest turnout was in Delhi with 1,86,405 students appearing for tests, followed by Bihar with 84,425. Meanwhile only 583 of 5,634 registered candidates took the test in Meghalaya logging the lowest attendance at 6.02 per cent. Overall 61.86 per cent candidates appeared in the CUET UG.

The entrance exam was held in 547 cities within India and in 13 cities outside India — Sri Lanka, Qatar, Doha, Indonesia, Nepal, Malaysia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Nigeria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Sharjah and Singapore.

Jamia to release list of selected students soon

"Candidates had registered for our undergraduate courses for which we need CUET result. So, we will the registered candidates to send us their CUET score tomorrow and on the basis of that, we will issue the final list of selected candidates. DU to begin session from November 1

CUET UG result declared: What next?

"Once the CUET-UG scores are announced, universities may typically take about 6 weeks to finalise the results as they may issue first list, second list and so on until most of the seats are filled. Either in October last week or November first week, most universities may attempt to start their new academic session," Kumar told The Indian Express.

DU aspirants yet to get clear picture of admission to preferred courses

With a novel process in place for undergraduate admissions, the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) results released Friday morning might not yet give aspirants a strong idea of their chances of getting admitted to their preferred college and programme at Delhi University.

UGC Chief congratulates students

"Results of candidates are being shared with the Universities where the candidates had applied. Candidates are advised to be in touch with the respective Univesities and Institutions for further details," an official NTA notice stated.

Race to Delhi University to be tougher

A large number of candidates in the high percentile band generally means a more competitive admission process. According to Delhi University Dean (Admissions) Haneet Gandhi, until all students submit their CUET scores and their preferences, it will be hard to gauge what a candidate’s chances for a particular programme and college may be.

Why haven't as many students scored 95 percentile in physics?

The cut-off marks to have scored 95 percentile in physics and maths is much lower than English. In order to secure 95 percentile in physics, a candidate should have scored 52.5% or 105 marks out of 200. The cut-off marks for 95 percentile in maths is much lower at 51.5% or 103 out of 200 marks. English, in stark contrast, has its 95 percentile cut-off pegged at 92.5% or 185 out of 200 marks. Read the full report here

CUET UG 2022 Result LIVE Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has meanwhile reopened the application form correction window to provide an opportunity for candidates for making amends to their application forms till September 15, 5 pm. Candidates can make amends to their personal details such as name or mother’s name or father’s name, date of birth, gender, category, PwBD status and choice of universities during the process.
