Jaipur: A 26-year-old man preparing for examinations to get government job ended his life at Baleta village near Alwar late on Monday evening. He was living at his uncle’s house. The family got a big jolt as his elder brother had committed suicide three months ago.
According to police, deceased identified as Yashwant Sharma was living at his uncle’s house at scheme number 10 of Baleta village. “He was pursuing Bachelor’s of Arts from Alwar and was also preparing for various competitive examinations to get a government job. In the evening on Monday, he locked himself inside his room. When his uncle and aunt called him to come for dinner, he did not respond. Expecting the worst, they informed us,” said a senior police officer of Kotwali police station in Alwar.
A team of senior police officers rushed to the spot and bailed him down. “He was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead,” the officer added.
Police stated that no suicide note was found. “It was found that father of the deceased Ghanshyam Sharma works as a building contractor. Family had witnessed similar thing three months ago when elder brother of the deceased Yaswant too had committed suicide,” the officer said.
In the investigation, the family stated that they have no idea if Yashant was under any pressure that led him to commit suicide. “In the afternoon, he looked fine and was properly interacting with the family members. He was not a shy person as he used to speak to everyone in the family,” said a senior officer.
Family members, including the father, were in deep shock after witnessing one suicide after another. “What can I say? Within three months, I have witnessed the death of another son,” he added.
