Tata Motors staff found dead in plant

Jamshedpur: A 53-year-old employee of Tata Motors plant in Jamshedpur died under mysterious circumstances at the works. His body was found on Tuesday.
“The deceased, Mukul Dundung, who was a resident of Birsanagar, reported for duty on Monday, but did not leave the plant after work. His body was found lying on the ground, a few metres from the conveyor belt that was operational,” said factory inspector Vinit Kumar.
“Preliminary investigation suggests it was not an accident linked to the operation of the conveyor belt or any mishap caused by any mechanical fault,” said Kumar. The official said the site where the body was found was not the work place of the worker. “An investigation is on to find out how he reached the accident site,” Kumar said.
The body is in MGM Hospital for autopsy. There’s no communication from Tata Motors till the filing of the report. TNN
