Surveys on Madrassas are smaller-scaled NRC: Asaduddin Owaisi

The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has ordered to conduct of a survey of unrecognised madrassas by the requirement of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights. The AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has termed the survey of madrasas as a "mini- NRC" and alleged that the UP government was "harassing" the Muslim community in the name of a survey.
