
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 455.95 points up at 60571.08 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Ltd.(down 10.00 per cent), Kaarya Facilities(down 9.96 per cent), (down 9.53 per cent), Royal India Corp(down 9.39 per cent) and .(down 8.99 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 33 stocks closed in the green, while 16 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 133.7 points up at 18070.05.
On the BSE, Dipna ., , Rhetan TMT Ltd., and Dhampur Bio . hit their fresh 52-week lows, while , ., , and touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
