Panaji: An 80-year-old man succumbed to Covid-19 at a private hospital on Tuesday. With this, the cumulative deaths touched 3,965.
The man was vaccinated with two doses of the vaccine.
Goa reported 76 new Covid-19 infections on Tuesday. A total of 995 samples were tested with a case positivity of 7.6%.
This contrasts with the national daily positivity rate of 1.2% reported on the same day.
Goa’s active tally stands at 537. One person was hospitalised and rest of the 75 who tested positive opted for home isolation.
There were nil hospital discharges and 97 recoveries over the past 24 hours.
