AgenciesNEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded positive around 11:05AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.
Gland Pharma(up 2.83 per cent), Laurus(up 1.23 per cent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals(up 0.85 per cent), Natco Pharma(up 0.79 per cent) and Pfizer(up 0.64 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Cipla(down 0.53 per cent), Zydus Lifesciences(down 0.33 per cent), Biocon(down 0.15 per cent), Divis Laboratories(down 0.11 per cent) and Alembic Pharmaceuticals(down 0.08 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was up 0.14 per cent at 12733.35 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 107.55 points at 18043.9, while the BSE Sensex was up 376.21 points at 60491.34.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 38 were trading in the green, while 10 were in the red.
Shares of Zomato Ltd., , PNB, and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of ., , , and hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while JFL Life Sciences Ltd., Ameya Precision Engineers Ltd., S & S Power Switch, Debock Sales & Mktg and hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
