JAIPUR: Curiosity about technology, trying his hand at developing apps, and game building motivated Anmol Agarwal, who secured All India Rank 23 in JEE Advanced, the results for which were released on Sunday.
A student of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Vidyashram in the city, Agarwal has scored the highest rank among the successful candidates in the city as per information received from different sources.
“With this result, I have got most of my dream colleges as options, which was unexpected to both me and my parents. It feels nice… I want to study computer science engineering, and I am aiming for IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi and IIT Kanpur. After my engineering, I want to continue working in the field of technology,” said Agarwal.
Sharing how he started preparing for IIT JEE, Agarwal said he was always inclined towards technology and tried his hands at developing mobile applications or games.
“In the past two years, I tried making an application, an online game like snakes and ladders, then I had also built a voice assistant for my laptop. I always tried new things, and that is what pushed me to prepare for JEE and study computer science engineering. In my journey, my parents were very supportive. They also had their share of late nights with me,” said Agarwal.
He said he made sure that he studied every subject daily. A minimum of seven hours of daily studies were divided between mathematics, physics and chemistry, said Agarwal.
