Healthy boundaries

A good friend always respects boundaries. They understand when you are not available and will wait till you are in a position to talk about it to them. They respect your life decisions and do not force you to be the person you are not.

​Sharing is easy

With true friends, sharing information, bad or good, feels easier. If you feel happy and safe sharing information, you should know you have earned a quality friend

​No competition

A true friend is one who feels proud of your and your success. If they feel otherwise, they are not your real friends.

​Be authentic

With real friends, you don't need to pretend like someone you are not. You know you can be yourself with them and they will love you for that.

​No mocking

Friends who mock or ridicule you in a way that hurts them aren't your real friends. Those who make fun of you behind your back aren't your friends. Remember, a true friend is always honest with you but at the same time cares about your feelings.
