National Health Accounts Report 2018-19 has been released on September 12. Dr VK Paul, Member-Health, Niti Aayog talked to the media regarding the report and said that the report showed an increase in government expenditure on health and a steady decline in outer pocket expenditure.He said, ìNational Health Accounts report 2018-19 has been released by the govt today. The report shows that there is a rise in the expenditure on health by the government, both Union and State.îHe further added, The outer pocket expenditure is showing a steady decline from 64 pc to 48 pc. The expenditure on primary healthcare is also steadily rising. This report tells us that the vision set by the PM and the processes are in the right direction.
