On Sunday, September 11, Telugu veteran actor Uppalapati Krishnam Raju passed away at 83. His wife and three daughters were by his side at the time of his death. Several people paid their last respects, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and south superstars, Prabhas and Chiranjeevi.

After the death of the veteran actor and two-time Loksabha member, PM Narendra Modi tweeted that he was deeply saddened and will never forget him for his creativity and cinematic excellence. Besides that, he was a famous politician too. PM adds that we will always cherish his service as the Union Minister. Along with this tweet, the Prime minister also showed his condolences to his family.



Not only the PM, but Rajnath Singh, India’s Defense Minster, also showed his shock and sadness over the death of Krishnam Raju.

Krishnam Raju did more than 180 movies, and his rebellious characters made him an industry icon.

He was in this industry for more than five decades. In 1966, he debuted in Chilaka Gorinka, a Telegu film. His acting abilities have earned him many accolades and awards from time to time. Recently, he acted in Radhe Shyam, his last film with his nephew Praphas. He was planning to produce the upcoming movie of Prabhas.
