Two drown; one killed by lightning

Rajkot: Three people died in rain-related incidents reported from Amreli and Devbhumi Dwarka districts, on Monday.
In Bhanvad town, two cousins drowned in a deep pit filled with water near their house. Anjali Rathod, 12 and her cousin brother Chandresh, 8, slipped into the pit while playing and drowned. Family members were informed after some time and their bodies were fished out.
In Amreli, a woman farm labourer died after being struck by lightning in Kadiyali village of Rajula taluka.
The woman, Aarti Baraiya, 40, was rushed to a hospital in Rajula by 108 ambulance where she succumbed, sources said
