Corruption allegations: DKS launches counter attack

Kalaburagi: The BJP-led state government has been stating for three years that it will reveal all scams during the tenure of Siddaramaiah in the Congress government, but it did not do that. It will keep on saying it whenever the assembly session comes, said KPCC president DK Shivakumar.
The Congress leader alleged that the state government itself is involved in Covid-19 and other scams. He demanded a judicial investigation over the alleged scams by both the current and previous governments.
Speaking to reporters in Raichur, he said BJP MLAs in the district are involved in 100% corruption. BJP has not fulfilled even 10% of the 600 promises it has made, he added.
“BJP has not taken any action over its MLAs who are all involved in PSI scam. Lokayukta should take this issue seriously and lodge a suo motu complaint," he added.
He said Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will travel up to 510km in the state during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. “In the past two days, 1,800 people and Congress workers have registered to walk with him. There is plan for Rahul Gandhi to hold a discussion with selected farmers of Kalyana Karnataka region in Raichuru,” he added.
