Region reports 212 new Covid cases, 1 death

Chandigarh/Shimla: The region reported 212 fresh cases of Covid-19 on Monday with one death in Himachal.
Punjab recorded 53 new cases with 18 in Ludhiana, 13 in Mohali, five in Jalandhar, four each in Hoshiarpur and Muktsar, three in Ropar, two in Patiala, and one each in Bathinda, Gurdaspur, Pathankot and Nawanshahr. Haryana reported 103 new cases on the day, taking the cumulative Covid count of the state to 10,53,837 cases, 10,42,576 recoveries, 10,693 deaths and 545 active cases.
Himachal Pradesh reported one death and 56 cases during the day. While Kangra district reported 17 cases, eight cases each surfaced from Hamirpur and Mandi.
