Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 10:29AM

Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 5.27%), & Petrochemicals(up 4.98%), Sikko Industries(up 4.97%), Rama Phosphates(up 4.83%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 3.23%), & Fertilizers(up 2.28%), KRISHANA(up 1.24%), Aries Agro(up 1.10%), & Fertilizers(up 1.02%) and Agro Phos(up 0.88%) were among the top gainers.

ZUARIAGRO(down 0.44%), & Chemicals(down 0.37%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.28%), G S F C(down 0.16%) and Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 0.04%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 114.4 points up at 18050.75, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 336.54 points at 60451.67 at around 10:29AM.

Bajaj Finserv(up 5.35%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 2.27%), Titan Company Ltd(up 2.21%), SBI Life(up 1.84%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.55%), Britannia Industries(up 1.53%), Bajaj Finance(up 1.43%), Grasim Industries(up 1.36%), HDFC(up 1.24%) and UPL Ltd(up 1.19%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Cipla(down 0.44%), Divis Laboratories(down 0.18%), Tech Mahindra(down 0.17%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.14%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 0.13%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.07%) and Tata Consultancy(down 0.01%) were trading in the red.
