JAIPUR: Paying tribute to former Rajasthan chief minister late Jagannath Pahadia, who also served as governor of
Bihar and Haryana, the state government has named the Bharatpur medical college after him. Pahadia was born in Bharatpur's Bhusawar in 1932 and died of Covid-19 in 2021. He was the first Dalit CM of the state.
"We have received the order from the government on naming the medical college after the former CM," said Dr Subhash Bansal, principal and controller of the college.
