Reliance Power(up 9.90%), Energy Development Company(up 9.86%), KEC International(up 9.40%), Limited(up 7.68%), Inox wind(up 7.05%), RTNPOWER(up 4.85%), Inox Wind Energy(up 4.32%), Jyoti Structures(up 3.81%), Transmission(up 3.40%) and Jaiprakash Power Ventures(up 2.99%) stood among the top gainers.
Indowind Energy(down 4.72%), Voltamp Transformers(down 3.06%), Hitachi Energy India(down 2.17%), Karma Energy(down 1.82%), Indo Tech Transformers(down 1.46%), KPI Green Energy(down 1.32%), DPSC(down 1.00%), PTC India(down 0.87%), Torrent Power(down 0.84%) and NLC India(down 0.76%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 103.0 points up at 17936.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 321.99 points at 60115.13.
Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 3.49%), Titan Company Ltd(up 2.22%), Divis Laboratories(up 2.08%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.08%), Axis Bank(up 2.06%), Tata Steel(up 1.94%), UPL Ltd(up 1.93%), Eicher Motors(up 1.89%), Infosys(up 1.62%) and Bajaj Finance(up 1.48%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Coal India(down 2.57%), Shree Cement(down 1.51%), HDFC(down 0.51%), Nestle India(down 0.44%), Bajaj Finserv(down 0.39%), HDFC Bank(down 0.34%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.32%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.32%), Asian Paints(down 0.28%) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.26%) closed in the red.
