Punjab,Haryana and Himachal Pradesh reports 139 new Covid cases

SHIMLA/CHANDIGARH: The region reported 139 new cases of Covid-19 on Sunday with one death in Barnala, Punjab. Punjab reported one death and 48 new Covid cases on Sunday. The death was reported from Barnala. While total cases in the state have reached 7,83,906, the death toll has gone up to 20,491 till date. There were 497 active cases on Sunday.
Haryana reported 68 new Covid cases on Sunday. With this,the cumulative Covid tally has reached 10,53,734 cases, with 10,693 deaths, 10,42,399 recoveries and 619 active cases.
A total of 2,403 persons received jabs with 101 first doses, 269 second doses and 2,033 boosters, taking the total vaccination coverage to 4,52,67,031. Himachal Pradesh reported 23 Covid cases with 32 patients recoveries.
