Kerala is a symbol of unity, a model for Bharat Jodo: Rahul

Thiruvananthapuram: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday said his Bharat Jodo Yatra wanted to spread Kerala's message of unity in diversity and stand against division and hatred.
“Kerala is the symbol of unity in diversity and a model for the entire country. The people of the state do not allow hatred to spread among them and encourage mutual respect. This was the reason why the state has a good education system and the most compassionate nur-ses,” he told a gathering in the evening while concluding the day's programmes.
Earlier, the yatra was given a rousing reception at Kaliyikkavila, the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border, by a bevy of Congress leaders led by KPCC president K Sudhakaran.
