Future Consumer(up 4.44%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(up 3.65%), Umang Dairies(up 3.23%), Euro India Fresh Foods(up 2.81%), Heritage Foods(up 2.53%), Vadilal Industries(up 2.46%), Parag Milk(up 1.79%), Tasty Bite Eatables(up 1.50%), Bajaj Consumer(up 1.43%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.13%) stood among the top gainers.
Dangee Dums(down 4.63%), Dodla Dairy(down 2.27%), Hindustan Foods(down 1.63%), Varun Beverages(down 1.21%), Prataap Snacks(down 1.00%), Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(down 0.90%), Dabur India(down 0.78%), Nestle India(down 0.44%), ADF Foods(down 0.39%) and Hindustan Unilever(down 0.32%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 103.0 points up at 17936.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 321.99 points at 60115.13.
Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 3.49%), Titan Company Ltd(up 2.22%), Divis Laboratories(up 2.08%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.08%), Axis Bank(up 2.06%), Tata Steel(up 1.94%), UPL Ltd(up 1.93%), Eicher Motors(up 1.89%), Infosys(up 1.62%) and Bajaj Finance(up 1.48%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Coal India(down 2.57%), Shree Cement(down 1.51%), HDFC(down 0.51%), Nestle India(down 0.44%), Bajaj Finserv(down 0.39%), HDFC Bank(down 0.34%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.32%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.32%), Asian Paints(down 0.28%) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.26%) closed in the red.
