Shares of Oberoi Realty(up 3.89 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 3.55 per cent), DLF(up 3.2 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 2.45 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(up 1.05 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.35 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(down 0.05 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 2.2 per cent up at 480.4.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 103.0 points at 17936.35, while the BSE Sensex stood up 321.99 points at 60115.13.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 34 ended in the green, while 15 closed in the red.
Shares of , YES Bank, JP Power, and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of , , , and Omax Autos hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while , Ameya Precision Engineers Ltd., JFL Life Sciences Ltd., Bombay Rayon and hit their fresh 52-week lows.
