20 Microns(up 6.37%), Lexus Granito(up 4.93%), Ashapura Minechem(up 4.10%), NMDC Ltd(up 2.06%), Pokarna(up 1.42%), Madhav Marbles and Granites(up 0.95%), Oriental Trimex(up 0.34%) and MOIL(up 0.09%) stood among the top gainers.
Coal India(down 2.57%), KIOCL(down 1.25%), Aro Granite Industries(down 0.68%), Dvpt Corporation(down 0.66%) and Orissa Minerals Development Company(down 0.23%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 103.0 points up at 17936.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 321.99 points at 60115.13.
Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 3.49%), Titan Company Ltd(up 2.22%), Divis Laboratories(up 2.08%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.08%), Axis Bank(up 2.06%), Tata Steel(up 1.94%), UPL Ltd(up 1.93%), Eicher Motors(up 1.89%), Infosys(up 1.62%) and Bajaj Finance(up 1.48%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Coal India(down 2.57%), Shree Cement(down 1.51%), HDFC(down 0.51%), Nestle India(down 0.44%), Bajaj Finserv(down 0.39%), HDFC Bank(down 0.34%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.32%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.32%), Asian Paints(down 0.28%) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.26%) closed in the red.
