Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Monday at 10:29AM

Sikko Industries(up 4.96%), Fertilizers (up 3.39%), & Chemicals(up 1.89%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 1.21%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 1.12%), KRISHANA(up 1.12%), G S F C(up 1.07%), Aries Agro(up 0.91%), & Fertilizers(up 0.79%) and National Fertilizer(up 0.76%) were among the top gainers.

Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 2.63%), Madras Fertlizers(down 1.13%), Agro Phos(down 0.49%) and & Petrochemicals(down 0.03%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 120.6 points up at 17953.95, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 401.21 points at 60194.35 at around 10:29AM.

& Special Economic Zone(up 2.49%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.07%), UPL Ltd(up 1.83%), Infosys(up 1.76%), Bajaj Finance(up 1.48%), Titan Company Ltd(up 1.35%), Tata Steel(up 1.32%), Axis Bank(up 1.3%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.28%) and Wipro(up 1.16%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Shree Cement(down 1.25%), JSW Steel(down 0.47%), Asian Paints(down 0.18%), HDFC(down 0.18%) and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.08%) were trading in the red.
