PM Modi to visit Uzbekistan for Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit

Indian Ambassador to Uzbekistan Manish Prabhat on September 12 informed that the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation’s Summit will be held face-to-face which will also be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Physical face-to-face meetings will be happening this time (at SCO Summit). PM is coming to Uzbekistan for the same. It's important for all the leaders to come together after the COVID-19 situation to discuss various issues,” the Indian Ambassador to Uzbekistan said. “PM will be in Samarkand on 15 to16 September. The Summit itself would involve the meeting of the leaders in different formats, ending with a ceremonial lunch hosted by Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, accompanied by a cultural program,” he added.
