Lucknow: Former BJP MP Harinarayan Rajbhar gets threat call

LUCKNOW: Former Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) MP, Harinarayan Rajbhar, got a threat call from an unidentified phone number for his comment on elusive Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) MLA from Mau, Abbas Ansari, on Sunday.
Harinarayan had given a statement about Ansari saying that the Mau MLA had taken shelter at the house of SBSP chief OP Rajbhar. The complainant got the threat call when he was busy in talking with people who visited him at his residence in Viram Khand area of Gomtinagar.
It was alleged that around 4.50pm a caller placed a call on his phone and asked him why he had given a derogatory statement about Ansari and threatened to brace up for the consequence in future, said the police.
DCP, East Zone, Prachi Singh, told TOI that an FIR under the charges of criminal intimidation by anonymous communication has been registered against the number based on a complaint by Harinarayan Rajbhar. "We are tracing the caller,” she said.
