ReutersNEW DELHI: Power stocks were trading higher on Monday at 10:14AM
Energy Development Company(up 8.17%), Jyoti Structures(up 4.90%), RTNPOWER(up 4.85%), KEC International(up 4.15%), Inox wind(up 4.02%), CESC(up 3.12%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures(up 2.99%), Suzlon Energy(up 2.60%), Transformers and Rectifiers(India)(up 2.39%) and Karma Energy(up 2.32%) were among the top gainers.
Indowind Energy(down 4.72%), Voltamp Transformers(down 1.26%) and KPI Green Energy(down 1.10%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 129.25 points up at 17962.6, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 425.78 points at 60218.92 at around 10:14AM.
& Special Economic Zone(up 2.77%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.72%), Infosys(up 2.13%), UPL Ltd(up 1.9%), HCL Technologies(up 1.47%), Wipro(up 1.45%), Tata Steel(up 1.37%), Tata Consultancy(up 1.25%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.24%) and Axis Bank(up 1.21%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Shree Cement(down 1.4%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.07%), HDFC(down 0.06%), Asian Paints(down 0.02%) and JSW Steel(down 0.01%) were trading in the red.
