BENGALURU: Education Minister BC Nagesh has hit out at Congress leader Siddaramaiah for his tirade against the State Government.

On Saturday, the Leader of Opposition targeted Nagesh, questioning what portion of the bribes alleged by RUPSA had gone to him. “RUPSA has written to PM Narendra Modi on the corruption in the education department. It seems that the department which had given permission to private schools after taking bribe is asking for bribe to cover up the illegality. What is the proportion of Nagesh in this?” he asked on social media.

In response, Nagesh accusing Siddaramaiah of allowing schools to run illegally under his tenure as CM. “What is the role of Siddaramaiah in allowing many schools to be started unofficially and abetting illegality by not making rules to issue NOC to start private CBSE schools during his tenure,” he questioned.
