Kanpur: Result of the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE)-Advanced for admission to IITs, was declared on Sunday. Several city students managed to crack this tough exam. These students would be taking admission in different IITs across India.
Kanpur zone topper is Kanishka Sharma. He has scored AIR 58. City lad Prabkirat Singh who had emerged as national topper in class XII in ISC board, managed to score 678 AIR in JEE Advanced. He had scored 446 AIR in JEE Mains. Prabkirat said that he wishes to pursue BTech Computer Science. JEE Mains was held in the last week of June and the result was declared on July 11. The second exam of JEE Mains was held by the end of July and its result was declared on August 8. And the result of JEE Advanced was declared on September 11. This year, IIT-Bombay conducted JEE Advanced and other IITs assisted it in conducting it.
