68 new Covid cases, +tivity rate at 8.5%

Panaji: Goa reported 68 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday.
A total of 800 samples were tested with a case positivity rate of 8.5%.
This is almost six times the national average of the 1.47 daily positivity rate reported on Saturday.
There were nil Covid-19 mortalities and nil hospitalisations reported on Saturday, with all the 68 persons opting for home isolation.
Active cases now stand at 585. There were nil hospital discharges, with 109 recovering over the past 24 hours.
Health services have appealed to the public to wear masks when visiting a clinic or a hospital, market or any other public place in view of the festive season.
