‘Confident of candidature for LS polls’

Margao: Union minister and North Goa MP Shripad Naik on Saturday exuded confidence that BJP would once again nominate him for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
Speaking to reporters, Naik said that it was the wish of the people that he should represent them in the Parliament once again. He, however, hastened to add that it’s the party’s parliamentary board that would decide on the candidature.
Asked to comment on the state’s law and order situation, the Union minister said that the state government was handling the situation very well.
